Sam Fleming aka DJ Efsharp is the founder of Evolved Entertainment, a Toronto based talent agency. He’s led crowds at over three thousand events across six countries since starting at CKCU 93.1 FM in Ottawa in 1994 under the guidance of local legend Trevor Walker.

In almost three decades of show, Sam’s shared stage with MC's like Guru with Jazzmatazz, Drake, Shad K & Maestro Fresh Wes to bands such as Sam Roberts, Dragonette, Keys N Krates, The Arkells, City and Colour, to top songblenders Starting From Scratch, Mayer Hawthorne, Dopey and Skratch Bastid. He’s worked in the studio with everyone from reggae crooner Luciano to underground dance artists Dinamo Azari and Sal Principato, to B.O.B. and Juno Reggae winner Blessed. He’s worked TV sets Russel Peters and David Foley. He’s done wrap parties and film fest soiree’s for James Franco, Daniel Craig and Guilllermo del Toro, introduced to the podium Arianna Huffington to Ben Mulroney to Iman. And has done sound for everyone from Jack Layton and Olivia Chow to Rob Ford, getting every mayor since Mel Lastman dancing.

When he already he had hundreds of club nights, corporate events and weddings under his belt, he live mixed and did announcements for hundreds of fashion shows for ten seasons of Canada’s leading “Toronto Fashion Week”. As the Musical Director he mentored from and collaborated with our country’s top designers and show producers.

⁠Niagara's World Touring Brass Dance Funk Beast! @mysonthehurricane will be performing on the Pride Festival mainstage on Friday, July 14 from 7:45PM - 9:00PM! Admission is FREE! We'll see you there! ⁠

My Son the Hurricane is a multi-horn, multi-drummer, multi-singer brass funk beast from Niagara, ON. The 12-piece brass-dance crew has toured over multiple countries and played some of Canada, USA and Europe’s biggest festivals. Over 45 sold out shows in 2022 proves that there is no live show like My Son the Hurricane. The band features trumpets, saxophones, trombones, drums, guitar, keys, percussion and a wild front woman…We dare you not to dance! In 2023, the band will take on an over 70 date Canada, United States and Europe-wide tour and share the stage with acts like Foo Fighters, Jason Isbell and Colin James.⁠

Join local dignitaries & the Rainbow Club of South Georgian Bay for the opening ceremony of Collingwood Pride.

Join us at the Pride Collingwood Festival Grounds which includes a Make Waves Vendor Market, a 19+ Beer Garden and incredible entertainment on our Festival Mainstage.

Admission is FREE and all are welcome!

Admission to the Beer Garden is 19+ and proof of age is required by legal government issued ID.
Last Call is 9:45pm. 
Vendor Market closes at 10:00pm

Join local dignitaries & the Rainbow Club of South Georgian Bay for the opening ceremony of Pride Collingwood which will include raising the Pride Flag outside of the Collingwood Public Library!

Come to the library and engage in a fun and interactive discussion with local Drag Queen Justine D'as! We will be discussing the history of Drag culture, development of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, covering pop culture and learning what it takes to be a Drag performer!

TThis program is suitable for adults and youth ages 13+

Registration is encouraged as there is room capacity, walk ins will be welcome based on availability. Registration link provided below.
