Our Vision

Collingwood Pride will be interactive, immersive and undeniable! Our Pride is your Pride. Collingwood Pride will be a free outdoor community event open to the public and will take over one street in Collingwood’s Heritage Downtown core and will include one full weekend of activations and celebrations.

We are committed to creating a distinctive and inventive event that is inclusive and connects with all members of our community to leave a long-lasting positive impression. Our wish is to pay homage to pride celebrations worldwide and to celebrate our core values of friendship, equality, education, respect, tolerance and collaboration.

Our team will curate a vast array of live entertainment on one outdoor stage and one indoor stage including: live musical performances, a speaker series, DJ’s, live comedy, films, drag performances, education and much more. In addition, we will have a vendors market complete with an educational and community outreach zone, and a children’s fun and play zone co-curated by the Collingwood Youth Centre and Elephant Thoughts.

Our events team values high-touch collaboration, intentional synergy and solutions-orientated problem solving. Collingwood Pride will be deeply rooted in collaboration with our community, with local businesses, local artists, volunteers, community partners, and sponsors.
